The aftermath of 9/11 left downtown Manhattan in a terrible state. Many jobs were lost and residents were quickly fleeing the area. It has been 11 years since the attack and lower Manhattan is not only regaining its population, (between 2000 and 2010 the census bureau reported the population grew by 40,000 within a 2 mile radius of City Hall) it has once again become a very popular place to live and work again. At this moment there are still many fabulous apartments available to purchase in lower Manhattan. The William Beaver House and 75 Wall Street are both high end luxury condos that have a plethora of inventory ranging from $650,000 to 7.5 Million.
